Retrieve a Seedance 2.5 video (platform format)
Retrieve a Seedance 2.5 video task through the platform Video Generations API.
Use the task ID to retrieve its status and result. By default, the response uses a platform-compatible wrapper containing code, message, and data. Set raw=true to return the native Volcengine Ark task structure directly, show_raw=true to include the same native structure in data.data, or show_usage=true to include platform-normalized usage data in data.usage. Video URLs may expire, so save the files promptly.
To retrieve the Volcengine Ark task structure directly, see the native-format retrieve API.
Use draft and draft_task_id in the native data to distinguish Draft previews from final videos. See the Draft video generation guide for the complete workflow.
/v1/video/generations/{task_id}Use the task ID returned by the create API to retrieve a Seedance 2.5 video task. By default, the response is a platform-compatible wrapper containing code, message, and data. Stop polling after the task enters succeeded, completed, or failed.
Set raw=true to read the native Volcengine Ark task structure directly. Set show_raw=true to include the same native structure in data.data of the compatible wrapper. Set show_usage=true to include platform-normalized usage information in data.usage for a successful task.
