Retrieve a Seedance 2.0 video (platform format)

Use the task ID to retrieve its status and result. By default, the API returns a platform task object. Set raw=true to return the native Volcengine Ark task structure directly, show_raw=true to include the same native structure in the platform wrapper, or show_usage=true to return platform-normalized usage information. Video and last-frame URLs may expire, so download or save them promptly.

The native task data supports 4k resolution for standard Seedance 2.0 and task priority; Fast supports only 480p/720p.

GET/v1/video/generations/{task_id}

Use the task ID returned by the create API to retrieve a Seedance 2.0 video task. Stop polling after the task enters completed or failed.

Query every 30 to 60 seconds. The completed video URL may expire, so download and save the file promptly.
